Susan Redmond
Principle/Owner/Designer
Susan Redmond founded the Redmond Design Group in 1996, bringing over 20 years of green industry experience. Susan is our main designer. She prides herself on close collaboration with her clients, working closely through all details from conceptual drawings through final master plan development. Her work is marked by creative and practical design, supplying the necessary resources for reaching the full potential of each client’s property.
Robert Flaherty
Project Manager
Rob coordinates and manages all of our jobs as well as being an integral part of our sales department. Rob brings years of experience in the landscape construction industry. Having owned his own landscape construction company for years, he has a wealth of knowledge in both landscape construction procedures as well as the foresight to manage the jobs in an efficient and professional manner.
Rob Ballou
Construction Foreman
Rob Ballou has been with the Redmond Design Group as a foreman for our landscape construction division since 2008. He is the lead person on all of our construction jobs, coordinating with the designers to ensure the highest quality on all of our projects. He is certified in machine operation, has years of site work experience and is fluent in all aspects of hardscaping. Rob’s best asset is his personable demeanor. He always has the clients best interest in mind.

Once approved, we move into construction, where our experienced team brings the design to life. Do you specialize in both landscape design and construction, including masonry work?
Yes, we are a full-service firm offering both landscape design and construction, including expert masonry. From patios and walkways to retaining walls and custom stonework, we handle your entire outdoor project in-house for seamless results.
Can you work with existing landscaping or do you only take on full redesigns?
We are happy to work with your existing landscape! Whether you need enhancements to certain areas, a new garden feature, or masonry updates, we can tailor our services to fit your needs—whether it’s a full redesign or a selective upgrade.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance after installation is complete?
